Rose de Soie by Balmain is a silky rose fragrance with a soft candied sweetness and a polished musky finish. Rose water and pink pepper give the opening a fresh, dewy brightness, while rose and orange blossom keep the heart airy and petal-soft rather than dense. As it settles, tonka and musk add a creamy warmth that makes the drydown feel smooth, elegant, and quietly addictive. The official Balmain copy emphasizes a silky rose water opening and roasted tonka sweetness, which lines up with the fuller note pyramid used by fragrance references.
